BStar Entertainment Under New Management

Back from the ashes is a website overhaul featuring one of the hottest new hip-hop artists today.  It's 15-year old Bernard 'Bstar' Mathis and his raw, underground style of hip-hop is gaining attention from fans and industry executives.

Mathis' music productions feature sampled loops and mesmerizing beats intertwined with fable-esqe lyrics and are backset to a true-to-life story from his experiences in his area.

"I just write about what I am thinking about," said Mathis.  "I've got so many stories in my head that the words just start flowin' and then I put a beat to them and a song is born."

His un-orthodox style of multi-beat and sampled layering creates an eclectic array of tempos and trance-like music.  Coupled with hooky samples and phonetic rhyming techniques, Mathis' style is remiscent of .50 Cent and early Tupac with an underground twist.

You can see more of his music videos, all of them home-grown, as his website http://www.bstarentertainment.com/.
