Join Team Obama

July 25th 2011

The Obama for America analytics team is hiring -- and we need your help to find the right people.

Our team analyzes the campaign's data to help inform election strategy and develop quantitative, actionable insights that drive our decision making. Our products help direct the work this campaign does on the ground, online, and on the air.

Do you or does someone you know have the skills and experience our team needs to re-elect President Barack Obama?

Learn more about what we're looking for, and then forward this to your analytically inclined friends now:

We are a multidisciplinary team of analysts, statisticians, mathematicians, software developers, and organizers based at the campaign's Chicago headquarters. We keep campaign hours -- this is not a 9-to-5 job. Team members all arrive with differing levels of experience, but we share a commitment to re-electing the President.

Positions are available immediately, and will continue to open up through November 2012.

Specifically, we are looking to fill the following positions at both senior and junior levels:

     -- Statistical Modeling Analysts: Construct and analyze predictive models, design experiments, and provide ad-hoc statistical analysis for campaign management;

     -- Battleground States Elections Analysts: Work with leadership to develop state election strategy through quantitative analysis of local, state, and national data;

     -- Digital Strategy Analysts: Analyze web traffic data, email results, social media, SMS data, and other digital information to provide insights for digital team; and

     -- Communications Analysts: Analyze political data, historical data, press data, and media data to inform our communications teams both nationally and in the states.

I'd bet you have at least one friend who's doing this kind of work already -- today, I want you to ask them if they'd like to do it for the President's campaign.

If you or that friend would like to join us, the application process starts here:
